Paul Dunn has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Toronto, a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Toronto, and a doctorate in accounting from Boston University. As a chartered accountant (CPA) he worked in the public, private, and non-profit sectors in downtown Toronto.

Initially, Professor Dunn joined the Goodman School of Business in the Accounting Department where he taught accounting theory for fifteen years. In 2013, he moved to the Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources, Entrepreneurship and Ethics department where he teaches business ethics in the undergraduate and graduate programs.

Dr. Dunn is the co-author of Business and Professional Ethics for Directors, Executives and Accountants, ninth edition. His academic research appears in numerous peer-reviewed journals. He is a consulting editor for Journal of Business Ethics, an associate editor of the Business and Society Review, and sits on the editorial boards of the Business & Society, and Journal of Management and Governance.
