Paul Dunn has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Toronto, a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Toronto, and a doctorate in accounting from Boston University. As a chartered accountant (CA) he worked in the public, private, and non-profit sectors in downtown Toronto.

Initially, Dr. Dunn joined the Goodman School of Business in the Accounting Department where he taught accounting theory. Afterwards, he moved to the Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources, Entrepreneurship and Ethics department where he teaches business ethics in the undergraduate and graduate programs.

Dr. Dunn’s research appears in the Journal of Business Ethics, Business & Society, Business Ethics Quarterly and many other peer-reviewed journals. He sits on the editorial boards of the Journal of Business Ethics and Business & Society. He also the only person to have served as Treasurer for the Social Issues in Management division of the Academy of Management, the International Association for Business and Society, as well as the Society for Business Ethics.
