Leila Tahmooresnejad joined the Goodman School of Business in 2023 as an Assistant Professor in Information Systems. She earned a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, a bachelor's degree in the same discipline, and a Masters in Technology Management.

Tahmooresnejad is actively involved in examining the impact of technological advancements on shaping sustainable business practices, along with the study of regional innovation clusters and global innovation networks. She is an affiliated member of the Social Justice Research Institute at Brock University and has a keen interest in exploring gender dynamics in innovation.
