Professor Sabrina Gong joined the Goodman School of Business in July 2019 after finishing her PhD in Accounting at the University of Alberta. She also holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Guelph and Renmin University of China, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Renmin University of China.

Her teaching experience includes financial accounting and managerial accounting. Her research interests mainly lie in the impact of accounting standards, disclosure and managerial behavior. Prior to pursuing her career in academia, she worked in both financial institutions and the non-financial sector in Canada and abroad.
