Mark Julien holds a PhD in Management from Carleton University, as well as a Masters of Industrial Relations and BA (Hons.) in Political Science from Queen’s University. He has taught a variety of Human Resource courses for the undergraduate and graduate programs.

Before his career in academics, Julien worked in both the public and private sector in a variety of human resource functions, including recruitment and selection, training and development, and employment equity. He also previously taught at the University of Regina, and the Eric Sprott School of Business at Carleton University.
