Professor Nigussie Mengesha joined the Goodman School of Business in 2015. He holds a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Oslo, and an MSc in Information Science from Addis Ababa University.

He teaches courses in information systems and technology, including Data Analysis and Business Modelling, Management of Information Systems, Database Management System, and Management of Information Systems and Technology.

Before joining Brock, Mengesha was an Assistant Professor at Ryerson University. He also taught Computer Science and Information Systems courses at Sheridan College and Addis Ababa University.

Mengesha also served as Department Chairperson, Assistant Dean, consultant to the United Nations and other government and nongovernment organizations, and project manager for IS development and implementation projects in different organizations.
